Lisa Burley (she/her) was an Instructional Technologist with the Collaboratory for Engineering Education and Teaching Excellence (CEETE). She is passionate about enhancing student learning through assisting instructors in selecting, using, and troubleshooting learning technologies to meet instructional goals. Her interest in the teaching and learning space was ignited as an undergraduate organic chemistry tutor at the University of Michigan. Since then, she has grown her skill set in this space as a graduate teaching assistant at Virginia Tech and a high school science teacher in southwest Virginia before migrating to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where her focus transitioned to instructional design and online learning. She came to CEETE from the Learn@UW team where, in her role as an instructional technology consultant, she found her love for problem solving learning technologies and providing strong customer support.
